North Cypress Medical Center was presented with the 2009 Excellence Through Insight Award for Overall Outpatient Satisfaction given by Healthstream Research Corporation on July 22, 2010. This award recognizes hospitals that excel in their ability to gain insight into their patients, employees, physicians, and community through research and use this information to build excellence within their organization.

The Award of Excellence was accepted with pride on behalf of North Cypress Medical Center by the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Robert A. Behar, MD, and Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Jimmy Lee, MD. During the celebration, representatives from Healthstream Research announced that North Cypress’ Outpatient Service was chosen from over 1,500 clients all over the country due to their “integrity, professionalism, and hard work to earn patients’ respect and top scores” (Bo Hansen, Senior Consultant of Healthstream Research Corporation).

North Cypress Medical Center holds one of the busiest outpatient service departments in the Houston area and has consistently received outpatient service scores above the national norm. During the latest North Cypress Patient Satisfaction Survey, 98% of those surveyed felt “Very Satisfied” or “Satisfied” with the result of their outpatient visit at North Cypress Medical Center.
